This welcoming host offers international students the opportunity to experience French life in a comfortable apartment ideally located in the centre of Bordeaux, with shops, services and public transport just a short walk away. The home is particularly convenient for students attending the Alliance Française, located only around 100 metres away.
The apartment has a spacious living room and kitchen, as well as two separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The guest will therefore enjoy a good level of privacy and independence. Wi-Fi is available, and the home also has a balcony and musical instruments, including a piano and bass.
The host is an engineer with an international background and a real interest in other cultures. His hobbies include photography, architecture, music, travelling and the game of Go. He speaks French, English, Spanish and Romanian and has himself lived abroad as a student in Spain and Poland, as well as as an expatriate in Romania, India and Japan. This international experience gives him a good understanding of what it is like to arrive and settle in another country.
He would be happy to welcome either a male or female guest and is comfortable hosting someone who enjoys being independent. His main motivation is to share cultures and languages while helping his guest discover Bordeaux and the surrounding region. He can accommodate one student at a time, making this a particularly suitable option for someone looking for a calm and personal homestay experience.
